Tour Highlights
AYT Favorite!
You read about this all the time online. A huge ship facing down a glacier. Small tour boats that appear to be almost right at the face of a glacier, with seals everywhere.
Well, this is a CORE part of our Juneau packages!
Tracy Arm, a classic fjord, has it all- tidewater and elevated glaciers, breathtaking mountains and sheer rock walls that reach up over a mile high with waterfalls that tumble down to the emerald green water, and Alaska’s largest icebergs.
Watch for whales, bears, mountain goats, hundreds of harbor seals, and a variety of birds such as eagles, arctic terns, kittiwakes, and pigeon guillemots.
This all day trip departs from downtown Juneau for a 3 hour trip to Endicott Arm, where you’ll be cruising between peaks up to 7000 feet in these glacial fjords. But don’t worry about the water, the boats have stable, smooth riding, ocean going hulls for the best cruise to Tracy Arm and Sawyer Glacier. A full walk-around deck and large cabin windows assure unobstructed views and great photo opportunities. There’s plenty of room to sit or walk around, including a restroom on board and food/drinks for sale.
