Caribbean Princess
Launched in 2004 and was just out of drydock in November 2024, Caribbean Princess holds 3,100 passengers and is a ‘midsize’ ship compared to others that sail to Alaska. The Caribbean Princess is one of the more “classic” vessels sailing Alaska and guests continue to love her. In fact, she’s one of our favorites!
Caribbean Princess also has The Sanctuary, an exclusive rest & relaxation area on the forward & top deck of the ship – offering either padded loungers or cabanas available for rent by the day or the entire cruise.
The ship’s Interior staterooms span 158 to 162 square feet and are appointed with minifridges and flat-screen TVs. Cruisers can also opt for Oceanview and Balcony cabins, as well as Mini-Suite and Suite category staterooms.
When it comes to dining, passengers can choose from multiple venues, including a main dining room, specialty restaurants Sabatinis, Crown Grill, Steamers Seafood, and Planks BBQ. Plus several casual eateries ranging from a pizzeria to burgers and fries. The Medallion app can have food delivered to you anytime, anywhere.
Activities are equally diverse, ranging from wine tastings to spa treatments to educational lectures through the ship’s Discovery at SEA program. In the evenings, Caribbean Princess offers activities like poolside Movies at Sea, onboard naturalist specializing in Alaska, and Puppies in the Pavillion.
