We search (and sell) Alaska cruises on a regular basis throughout the year, so we follow the booking trends and pricing.  Some things are a given:  Interior cabins typically go for $800 – $1000 per person, balcony $2500 – $3000, and minisuites $3500+.    When we see pricing outside of the norms, we’ll post them here.   Alaska cruises WILL get cheaper as you get closer to the departure date – however cruise lines are now pulling back offering refunds/upgrades when prices drop AFTER final payment; so if you want a REALLY REALLY good deal – you’ll find those about a month before sailing.    But if you want to go, we suggest you book at a rate that is comfortable and we’ll always advocate to get your price changed if there is a drop or amenity update.

The cruises below in the “Price Breakers” section are Alaska cruises with pricing that get our attention.  We advise you to book these when you can as space may be limited!

Holland America discounts for the summer are normally on the cross-gulf sailings on the Noordam & Nieuw Amsterdam.  These rates typically are made available to us in March or April for the summer.   Once we have these rates, we’ll post them to a separate site (Alaska Travel Gram deals).
