There are 3 basic cabin types with MSC –
- Interior
- Oceanview
- Balcony
Aurea Suites & Yacht Club have a mixture of both balcony & interior cabins, while some ships also have a limited number of oceanview suiites that are part of Yacht Club.
Guests that book a Bella Bella experience are not able to select their own cabin, whereas Fantastica & Aurea allow you to chose from what is available.
MSC does offer bid-up options to higher-category cabins, however this may not necessarily change your Experience booking level (except for Yacht Club). Upgrades are not always guaranteed, so make sure you are happy with the cabin selected!
MSC Cabins
All cabins come standard with one or two beds, closet space, private bathroom, color television, power ports (US & European), safe, minibar, and desk/work area. Wifi is accessible in all cabins for a fee. Some rooms have chairs or a sofa. All cabins offer climate control and have electronic door locks (RFID/key card) entry. The photos & layouts below are just samples and don’t show all the types available – including SOLO and Yacht Club cabins!

MSC Cabin Bathrooms
All bathrooms are equipped with a sink, toilet, and shower. Body wash & shampoo are provided, along with at least 2 towels of each (hand, body, wash) and a floor mat. Typically the hairdyer is located in the desk/work area of the cabin in a drawer. Suites and some premium balcony cabins offer full size tubs. Newer ships have glass enclosures around the shower, while older generation ships have a curtain.
