Cruise with Chillie
I have loved to travel since I was a child. Then, I started cruising in 1978 and have been an avid cruiser since. Before November 2019, I had begun asking for wheelchair service at airports but went several years without cruising due to losing my traveling partner, my declining health and mobility issues, plus a full work schedule.
I accidentally started using a scooter on a cruise and have become acutely aware of accessibility issues on cruise ships, excursions, airports and any other venue I might be traveling to. I started this blog to share my traveling experiences from the prospective of a partially disabled senior citizen.
Jump ahead to 2021, my circumstances have changed. Having gone through six months of chemo, have a fulltime catheter, and am a full time oxygen users, my partially disabled senior citizen has advanced to a full time disabled citizen.
I welcome any and all comments, questions or suggestions. As long as I have time left with the ability to travel at all, I promise to provide accessibility information, and maybe to entertain a bit as well.
