Finances Disclosure Requirement
As a fully licensed AND insured travel agency/tour operator, some US States require the following statement and declaration.
Funds used for vacation packages & excursions are required to be placed into an escrow account, separate from Airline Doctors, Inc operating account, for all funds paid until utilized. Funds are transferred to the vendor based upon their requirements.
Airline Doctors, Inc – doing business as Alaska & Yukon Tours, A & Y Tours, TRAVEL by ADI, and Belize Excursions funds are placed into either a Client Escrow/Trust account at the Bank of Hawai’i or JP Morgan Chase Bank.
Some items of travel require immediate payment by the client/and/or Airline Doctors, Inc include published air (airline tickets), prepaid hotels, prepaid car rentals, cruise deposits and/or payments, travel insurance and prepaid excursions. Many components, including SOME hotel bookings, sea & land based excursions, transfers, and taxi fares are typically held in escrow until payment is requested from the operator – and funds are then dispersed at time of request.
Airline Doctors, Inc. is in full compliance of Reseller of Travel laws/regulations in the states of California, Florida, Hawai’i, and Washington.
The practice of placing funds in escrow is one way we are protecting you, the consumer. We move all funds into escrow until utilized, regardless of location of our traveler.
