US Protections on Airline Tickets

There’s a few reasons why its important to buy tickets in USD, from a US website, or US based Travel Agent like Alaska Travel Desk.  Below we will outline some of the services offered by Alaska Travel Desk but also the US Department of Transportation Rules that cover airline ticket transactions – even those for flights that are outside the US, but whose purchase originated in the US (all airline tickets issued by us are US originating).

United States Department of Transportation Protections

  • Refund on flights that are cancelled (for any reason) or significantly delayed
